American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP)
The American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP) promotes ethical and professional standards for intensive English programs; encourages and facilitates evaluation of intensive English programs; provides liaison between intensive English programs and other organizations whose concerns for international students overlap with those of the AAIEP; and works to increase awareness abroad of opportunities for English language study in the USA.
Association of International Educators (NAFSA)
The Association of International Educators (NAFSA) is an association of over 7,000 members who promote international student exchanges to and from the USA. NAFSA provides a variety of resources for international students on topics such as income tax, health, living with host families, and the services of the international offices at universities and colleges.
Educational Testing Service (ETS)–TOEFL
Educational Testing Services is the administrative body responsible for managing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) under the guidance of the TOEFL Policy Council, a group of 15 members from independent academic organizations and government agencies. The service’s online network (ETS Net) provides information on a range of subjects from financial aid to teacher certification.
